Golf, tennis, horseback riding, scuba diving, 4-wheeling, walking or swimming along the beach as well as restaurants are all within minutes. Driving 3 minutes west from the town you’ll find the fishing village/beach town of Guayacanes, a pretty cove-like beach of Playa Caribe with fine beachfront restaurants.

How to Get to Juan Dolio
Juan Dolio is conveniently located 20 minutes from the Las Americas International Airport with direct flights from New York, Boston, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Newark, Paris and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Additional flights arrive at the new La Romana airport located 40 minutes from Juan Dolio.

Getting around
When staying or living near the beach you can walk to many locations. The beach road is quiet and has very little traffic. Motoconchos (motorcycle taxis) also cruise the beach road. Your apartment manager or hotel can help you get a taxi. Rates are usually posted near the entrance of the hotel.
